The Home Arms
The Home Arms is a 10 bedroom B & B Guest House in a prime beachfront location in the centre of Eyemouth in the beautiful Scottish Borders. The large house was built in the late 19th century and is now a listed historic building.
Painstaking restoration and renovation work was undertaken in 2012 by the current owners to create "The Home Arms Guest House" - a modern luxury Bed and Breakfast offering the highest levels of comfort and personal service, found in a modern quality hotel.
The Guest House has become well established and is now rated No.1 as the best place to stay in Eyemouth and the Scottish Borders region, and in the top 3% of best places to stay in the UK.
The Home Arms is particularly suitable as group accommodation. All rooms are configurable to suit guest requirements. Many of the rooms have stunning sea views across Eyemouth Bay. Extra facilities such as free car parking, a drying room, an equipment store, and a comfortable lounge in which to relax are very popular. Also highly rated is the traditional cooked breakfast, prepared to order right in front of guests.
The marine reserve just off the St Abbs coastline contains some of the very best scuba dive sites in Europe. The Home Arms is acclaimed as the best place for dive groups to stay. Air Fills are available on-site and equipment is transported to and from the harbour.
The picturesque harbour, situated just below the Golf Course, is just a short stroll past the local shops bars & restaurants. It’s a lovely place where you can go fishing or diving, discover pirates, or just watch the boats come and go.

HomeArms Cottage : Additional function room and kitchen facilities were added to The Home Arms by purchasing and knocking through several adjacent properties. The building at No.2 Home Street went through many transformations as part of this process. Originally built as typical fisherman’s housing, the building has now been fully renovated and returned to its own address. HomeArms Cottage is a lovely self-contained cosy cottage ideal for short term and holiday rental. Fully fitted to luxury standards, the cottage offers fantastic accommodation for up to five people and any well behaved pets.
